Two of the most popular main streets on Anna Maria Island are Bridge Street, known for its lively atmosphere and waterfront views, and Pine Avenue, where you’ll find a charming mix of local shops, cafes, and boutiques perfect for a leisurely stroll. Anna Maria Island offers a variety of vibrant beach markets to explore, including the Coquina Beach Market, the Anna Maria Island Tuesday Market, the Bridge Street Market, and the Red Barn Flea Market, each held on specific days and times, offering everything from fresh local produce to unique artisan goods—perfect for a leisurely afternoon of shopping.

The Hawaiian pizza, with your choice of red or BBQ sauce, pineapple, Canadian bacon, and mozzarella, is a personal favorite of mine.
Another must-try is Poppo’s Taqueria, a Mexican restaurant set up similar to Chipotle , offering delicious and fresh options. It’s a perfect spot for a quick, satisfying meal.

No trip to Anna Maria Island is complete without a stop at Dips, my favorite ice cream shop on the island.
